Texas State University’s William P. Hobby Center For Public Service Announces An In-person Syposium Scheduled For October 27, 2023. (9 AM – 4 PM) On The Texas State University Campus In Round Rock, Texas
Save the date of Friday October 27, 2023. Texas State University’s William P. Hobby Center for Public Service and e.Republic will sponsor a free in-person Symposium that will be live-streamed and recorded. The Symposium title is:
Meeting the Public Policy and Public Administration Challenges of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Next Decade

To register for the Symposium, to attend either in-person or via live stream zoom, please complete and submit the registration form. When you submit the form, you will be added to a registration database. which will be used to provide you with additional information (i.e. parking, driving instructions, zoom invitation etc.) as the date of the Symposium draws closer.

Texas State University’s MPA Program Schedules its 50th Anniversary Celebration Luncheon on September 23, 2023, at the LBJ Student Center in San Marcos, Texas

Save the date of Saturday September 23, 2023. Texas State University’s MPA Program will conduct an in-person Luncheon to celebrate its 50th Anniversary at the LBJ Student Center on the main campus of Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.
To commemorate the MPA program’s 50 years of excellence in public affairs education, a banquet bringing together distinguished alumni, university administrators, program faculty, current students, staff, and other well-wishers, is scheduled for Saturday, September 23rd, 2023, from 11:30am to 2:00pm. The celebration will be held in the Grand Ballroom in the LBJ Student Center at Texas State.
The LBJ Student Center is located on the campus of Texas State University. The street address of the LBJ Student Center Garage is 704 Gaillardia which is where attendees for the Luncheon will have to park. Parking will be paid for by the Texas State University MPA Program.

The cost of the Luncheon (including the gratuity) is about $30 per person. Included in the cost are salad, entrees, soft drinks, coffee, and tea. Alcohol is not included. A choice of menu options will be provided later. The MPA Program will pay for the cost of the meals for alumni, faculty, and students. Guests will be asked to upload payment for their meals on a university secure payment website later.
